Shiokumi makie based on the one of Japanese KABUKI dances “SHIOKUMI”.
“SHIOKUMI”Kabuki dance come from the story of Japanese NOH play “Matsukaze”.
Ennosai(圓能斎1872 to 1924) who was the 13th generation of Urasenke loved that story and asked an artisan to make a tea caddy based on “SHIOKUMI”dance.
